2342 Replacement

I just replaced my original PID, and set my alarm values.  After exiting the parameter cycle, the display shows PV = 16 & SV = 1200 with the "output" light on.  Shouldn't the PV begin to increase towards the 1200F mark?

TIA

I'm not sure of your question.

Output light ON means it is sending the signal to turn on the load. When your load is ON, your PV should increase towards your SV.

I've attached the wiring diagram of my heat treating oven-  The bottom line is I'm not sure if the new PID is faulty or I have 2 bad SSR's or all three are faulty.

There is no attachment in your last post.

Wait, are you using 2342 to drive SSRs? 2342 has a dry relay contact as its main output and it cannot drive SSRs directly. You need to use 2352 instead, which has 12V DC SSR output.

Well that's the problem then!!  I'll get the 2352...fingers crossed.

I've replaced the PID to the 2352. When I apply power, I get standard start-up display.  I've set the SV to 1550Fand the output light comes on.  However, the PV does not increase.  It's been rewired with new coils installed and my multimeter indicates I've got 240v at the coil input, but it's not heating.  "?"

See troubleshooting guide below.

For SYL-2352, when its front OUT is ON, you should get about 12V DC between T7&T8. When OUT is OFF, you should get about 0V. If you get this result, your PID is good. So either your SSR is bad, or your heater is bad, or your wiring is bad.
