I wanted to ask for some help about an issue I'm encountering with the Auber SYL 1512A PID device. The issue is pretty easy to explain: one of the sub-elements that makes up the second digit of the clock face doesn't light up (shown as the second zero below) and in addition one of the elements of the third digit is also noticeably faded.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of information online about this (but see link here).




Could anybody advise on how this might be fixed or what the issue might be?

Unfortunately most likely the display in your PID is bad. You need to contact Auber customer support for the replacement controller. Due to its compact design, this controller will be very difficult to disassemble and repair.

Here is a guide how to open this controller. If you are interested, you can try to disassemble this controller and check inside. Most likely replacing the front display module will fix this issue. But it may take you couple hours to do so with proper tools.
