Hi I purchased a SYL-2352P Ramp and Soak Controller and am very happy with the controller however I would like some info re: my Thermocouple problem. In Australia in a kiln setup we use 'R' type thermocouples and my controller only accepts an 'S' input. These are made off the same materials and in most cases are interchangeable however I have used my Thermocouple with 2 of your SYL-2352P controllers and it is registering a difference of around 80deg C when I fire to 1000degC or 1280degC. Any ideas on what the problem could be please? The TC input setting is (1) as recommended.
