Used this wifi controller 4 times now. So far so good, until tonight. I set up my WSM as usual and pulled the probes through the gasket on the side. Hooked up the fan, pit probe and plugged in the controller. I did not plug in the food probe. However, my controller is displaying a food temp...? And that food temp is out of control along with the pit temp. They keep jumping around. Sometimes the food temp shows the same temp as the pit and drops off to show -H- and will jump up to 800+ degrees... Not sure what is going on with the controller and why it all of a sudden is doing this.

I have now plugged the food temp in to see if the pit temp and food temp will stop jumping around. So far so good. But I don't like how the controller seemed to display a food temp when no probe was plugged in the food port. Made sure the wires are not touching, not sure if there could be some type of interference on the wires.

Any help would be welcomed.
