[Hawkeye smoker]

I bought the 1211H PID to control my Cuisinart analog smoker.  I have the temp probe in the smoker, the dial on smoker set to max, smoker plugged into the PID, and PID into house outlet.  I've set temp and time and the heating element won't come on.  Do I need to adjust some parameters to make this work?  Thanks.

Most likely, no.

Please plug in a table lamp to the heater output of the controller. Make sure the front green OUT light is solid ON, then check if your lamp is ON or OFF. If ON, your controller is good, otherwise your controller is bad.

If you are unable to make the green OUT light solid ON, please try to run factory reset.
