TRYING TO SET THE PID TO TURN ON ALM1 FOR COOLING WHEN THE SET POINT IS ABOVE X. NOT WORKING. MY SETTINGS ARE:
ALM1   100
At   0
Sn   0
COOL   11

THE THERMO IS WORKING FINE AND DISPLAYING IN F. CAN ANYONE SEE WHERE I AM GOING WRONG?

Some tips for the alarm setup:

This controller has two types of alarm: absolute alarm (based on your set alarm temperature) and derivation alarm (based on the temperature difference near your current set temperature). ALM1 & ALM2 are for absolute temperature alarms and Hy-1 & Hy-2 are for derivation alarms. You may also need to check your alarm assignment definite parameter AL-P and alarm suppression parameter COOL. Output cycle time parameter t also works as the system maximum delay. Using a too large t parameter will also add delay time to trigger the alarm.
