I bought a SYL-1813G for EGT monitoring in my car. But when i hooked it up, i saw that there are some segments missing in the display. Why is that? And is this something i can manage to repair myself?

Some segments are missing or the whole digit is bad? If it's the latter, you may be able to fix it. But if only some segments are missing, you need to send the gauge back for repair. 4 or 5 segments. I haven't counted.. I opened up the gauge, but didn't notice anything unusual. Yes i would like a new gauge, because tis have to be a warranty case?
