Greetings all,
Trying to figure out my 1520H. I have it plugged in and blinking. I'm using IOS and have the latest App from the appstore.
I reset the wifi setup and get the fast blinky blinks. Then I go into the app, and add the device. during the setup - it asks me to connect to the  Auber network, which I do, and proceed the steps. The device shows up in my phoneas it is supposed to I guess, but the blue light on the controller never goes solid blue. Just sits there and does a slow blink (pretty sure it's saying screw you - hahaha). When I open the app it says the device is not connected. My wifi network is setup as dual band 2.4/5ghz. I have double and triple checked that I have no access control turned on on the wifi - basically if you know the password, you can join the network.

I have other wifi devices on the network - both 2.4 and 5, with no problems. I have disabled cell data and bluetooth on the phone (un-necessary) but to hopefully help in the setup.

I've reset and added the device (always deleting the old one first) multiple times, till The quote, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" is starting to get stuck in my head.

I've rebooted the router, and the controller multiple times. Just cannot get it connected to the network.

Any suggestions?
Thanks
Andrew

Edit - Location services are on

So - it turns out that I can only use WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK encryption on  my Wifi If I want to use this controller.
So What I'll be doing is turning on my guest Network, and having that on while I'm running the smoke, then turn it off again after the cook.
Not an ideal fix, but hopefully it'll help others.

Thanks
Andrew

Compatible WiFi security protocols are the following:

WPA/WPA2/WPA2-Enterprise

It can be found under the spec table in the AW-1520H web listing.
