Hi, I'm  new to the forum, thanks for having me!

I replaced a faulty controller and relay with the 2352p and an SSR.( great controller!) Rewired according to the schematic I found in the FAQ section on auber website. This worked perfectly for six months but now my switch has failed. I replaced it with a 20amp dpst toggle, burned out in a couple months, picked up a new switch and can't get it to work now , trips the breaker. I can't find a wiring diagram for the toggle switch and think I'm wiring it wrong.
Any advice?
Thanks!!!

First of all, it is not recommended to use standard switch to cut the power from the SSR to the heating element. Typically the switch is only rated as 10A or 20A. If your load or output of SSR is close to 20A or even higher, it will reduce the life time of that switch. Generally speaking, standard switch is used to cut the signal wire from the PID to the controller, which consumes less than 1A.

The correct way is to 1) use a main power breaker as a switch to cut the power from the SSR to the heating element, like SWM-DR or SWM-DR-C. 2) you can use a mechanical contactor with standard switch. The switch is connected to the coil of the contactor, then the contactor will cut the power from the SSR to the heating element. Here is the wiring:

The switch in this wiring is DPST. If your switch always trips your GFCI, this switch could already be bad. You can use a multimeter to check its continuity, to confirm whether it is still good or shorted.
