Hi,

I have a Rancilio Miss Silvia with the manufacture date January 2000.
I understand most kits are for the models that start with a production date of May 2000?

Is there one for these old machines? And what kind of thermocouple is needed for these?

First of all, RTDstat based controller kits are compatible with your machine. (Like kit KIT-RSRTDNb, KIT-RSNSb and KIT-RSPb).

In addition, if your machine has M4 thread mounting hole, you can also use screw RTD sensor (kit KIT-RSRTD), which will have better response rate than RTDstat. Please refer to this guide: http://www.auberins.com/manufacture_year.pdf
