Does your Pid mod for the silvia fit the new 2016 model V5 E?

Thanks for your question. We have customers who just did that. However, it is a little bit tricky to install our kit on Rancilio Silvia V5 E. We will gather whatever info that we have on hand and give you an update later.

Sorry, it's hard for us to give you suggestion on this question. We don't have a new machine. From what we read about the new Rancilio Silvia V5 E, it has a few new features. But mainly the change is to meet the European Union's energy efficiency standards. So the boiler is wrapped in a foam thermal insulator, and there is a new added timer to shut off the machine after 30 min if not in use.

But from the perspective of using our kit with a Rancilio Silvia, V4 is much easier to install our kit, and our installation guide gives you a step by step instruction.

Anyway, it's really up to you.
